The Dolmen cooperative was founded on a common vision.
There were only 7 of us when we started developing our business services. An important collaboration with the Province of Milan (now Metropolitan City) for the supply of IT services began and has continued to flourish. A series of European Social Fund IT training courses also commenced. We met the Adelante cooperative and embarked on our journey together.
We merged to become Adelante Dolmen, with around 30 employees. This was the time that we created GET SMART, our proprietary system that maximizes the use of a card to monitor home help services. The first Article 14 agreements with Amgen and Dr. Modiano & Associates were established.
We became better-known. These years saw us establish a partnership with ACER and begin working with the Serena Foundation of the Nemo Clinical Center.
We decided to organise ourselves better, setting up the Software Development Business Unit and providing IT consulting support to San Raffaele Hospital.
These were transformative years as we changed identity and acquired the ISO 9001 certification. We simultaneously devised our Romero app and began managing consulting projects for the transition to Cloud systems. Article 14 agreements with Adecco, Health & Fashion Shoes Italia (Dr. Scholl) and Roche were set up and implemented.
Our cooperative expanded to encompass 60 staff, so we took the decision to relocate. More Article 14 agreements with KPMG, Niguarda Hospital and Information Resources were implemented. We also began to offer our IT consulting services to TEVA Italy and the University of Milan.
We continued to grow, having 20 new people join us, plus partnering with a training company. We won the tender for the Municipality of Milan for the Local Police Force and started with IT consultancy for Tecmec and SIDI which we were very proud of.
Furthermore, our Article 14 collaborations extended to include Banco BPM, Gleason Sales Corporation, Deloitte Consulting, Fidelity Investments, Glaxosmithkline Consumer Healthcare, Hewlett Packard Italiana, Inventa CPM, Neopharmed Gentili, Nch Italia, Prelios Integra. Another great milestone was the creation of more proprietary software: EasyWeb, Market Job and Mirto.
The Article 14 agreements continued, allowing us to place new staff at Silaq, Gruppo Trade, TeamSystem and SM Optics. At the same time, a process of analysis and repositioning began, in order to define the dual soul that now distinguishes us internally and communicate it externally.
Thus, Wakiwi, which specialises in IT Consulting, was founded. At this point, Adelante Dolmen renewed its identity: great experience in work placements.
